This is funny, on one of my favorite blogs, I came across a do-it-yourself idea from a Dutch magazine. I don't read magazines very much, but am happy this creative idea reached me after all ;-) Read the full description (in Dutch) on Style Files.

Of course, this is not the only idea of wooden table-thingies like this. Designer Brent Comber seems to be busy with the same thing, only then a bit more stylized (also found this at Style Files btw).

Anna james - turning furniture into art

Anna James's work is very inspirational, I find. She starts out with common furniture, we could all be the owner of, and turns them into art:

Inspiration: Labokoff - photography v.s. art

Don't know how I landed on his Etsy page, but I very much like the arty photography of Labokoff:

Another like Etsy: Da Wanda. Buy and sell things handmade (and second hand as well).

Came across this Etsy-copy called Da Wanda. It seems to be quite big, but I think not yet as big as Etsy is. Unfortunately they sell second hand stuff AND handmade stuff. A thing that I found irritating about some users at Etsy as well. It takes off quite a deal of the 'handmade' spirit and in Holland we already have Marktplaats and eBay for that.
