Craftstylish - community for crafty people

Came across the community Craftstylish.com recently, and found it worthwile to blog about... It is a social gathering of crafty people, in need to share information and techniques about their craft. Differing from knitting to quilting and a lot of other stuff, you can find people who are also busy with what you do. This is what they say themselves, about the site:

"CraftStylish is the ultimate crafting resource that we craved, but couldn’t find—a place to connect, discover and share with other crafters. It’s the destination for fabulous inspiration and expert instruction on the latest trends, projects, ideas, and materials."

Especially the 'how to' guides are very handy and inspiring, if you're into handcrafts :)

Mostly people tend to thing handcrafted stuff is very dull... And sometimes it is. But some of the things people share are very cool! And then, the uniqueness of handcrafted work is suddenly a very cool thing... Take a look at these hand-painted Vans for example:

Came across this blog by Kayte, which is a collection of al kinds of projects, links to other people's sites, creative initiatives, inspiring examples and other things to do with handcrafts...

Christian Junghanns - new website

Every now and then, I like to share some work by Christian Junghanns on my blog. Find his rough style inspiring and very nice. He's got a new website since a short while... On which I found a lot of new work too. Some new things I spotted:

The search for t-shirts made easy: PleaseDressMe.com

PleaseDressme.com is a website which tries to make the search for cool t-shirts easier. There are so many shops selling t-shirts on the internet nowadays, that a group of 3 t-shirt fans created this site.

"Rather than sifting through multiple websites we figured why not just go to one website that makes searching t-shirts easy?" so they tell us on their about page.

Everything on the site shows that it's really the place to be for t-shirt fans. From following the group on Twitter, to adding a feature in the browser and a widget on your own site... They use the possibilities of the web extensively.

They obviously know how t-shirt fanatics tend to orientate before buying their shirt. You can search them by color, price, tags, brands and at random.
