This is such beautiful work. My only issue would be the practicality factor - I can just see this getting filthy and being impossible to clean without ruining it. I could definitely see doing something other than flooring though - maybe a kitchen cupboard or some kind of paneling? Do you know how thick the wood is? Are we talking a veneer or a big, solid chunk?
