Really love this platform called Storybird. Their vision is a bit unclear, but that is totally fine though! Read the below (or take a peek at "about us") and you'll be convinced too. Just love people who want to make a difference.

Leah has this website where she posts Thank You notes all the time. They are sometimes funny, often a bit crazy and at least very creative. Always, it shows the gratefullness of this inspirational writer. Find a 'concept' like this extremely inspiring!

Interesting to see that platforms are popping up that make the publishing of books a lot easier. This is one specifically focussed on childrens books, called StoryJumper.
The platform is meant for kids to make their own books for other children. Am curious to see if high quality books will come out of it! And also if adults will not be using the platform too...

Exciting activity for kids to be active with, but also wonder if other kids (or parents) will actually be buying books. Have the feeling not a lot will be sold through this platform...
At Springwise, I came across this concept called Readeo. The platform enables parents to share bedtime stories at long distance via the web. Great idea, that also makes use of the webcam.
"The Chicago-based company's patent-pending application integrates digitised picture books with webcam communication, allowing adults and children to share stories while seeing and interacting with each other. A diverse library is available on the site." Springwise tells us.

Came across this book at Book by it's Cover. It features more than 700 patterns and can definitely offer some inspiration if you are into the subject!
This little book is untitled, but love the soft and sophisticated style. Danish artist Vibe Bredahl created this nice piece of 'art', it was published by Hurricane.

Like this book by Love to Print, called Obsession. Came across it at Book by its Cover. Would love to be able to draw very well! That could become my obsession, haha ;-)
At Book by its Cover I came across an article about a book called Finding Frida Kahlo. This book has been assembled by an artist-couple that bought some second hand stuff. This stuff also contained a trunk, which had artworks and letters from artist Frida Kahlo in it.
There seems to be a discussion on the authenticity of the materials that this book was based upon, although the publisher disputes this fact there are some rumours that the letters and artwork could be fake. I don't really believe that it would be fake, but either way I really love the layout and the way this book has been published!
